The Standard. Can't go in front of the BZA for its variances until it gets approved by the Planning Commission.

Ah that makes sense, I keep forgetting that it turns back into university avenue there. Thanks!

Thank you sir.

That's interesting. According to the diagram, this plaza is going into that little plot of land between the apartments bordering Apple Land and Ocean View Dr. Are they tearing down the couple of houses that are already there?

Post#68 in this thread. I've posted a screenshot of the schematic and you can use the attached link to see the illustrations of the finished product. It has nothing to do the with the proposed structure between Oceanview and Apple.

Thanks for the clarification. Easy to confuse 2 proposed strip malls that close to each other. Although I wasn't able to find an illustration of the final product for Donahue in the planning commission PDF.

Well, given that it's a strip mall, I'll leave you to indulge in the fantasy of what it might look like. The design of a strip mall only excites those who are building for the purpose of selling to 'investors'.

Giuliani got kicked out of the council meeting last night after arguing about the street annulment and then refusing to stop talking. A city council member was supposedly also escorted out last night after Giuliani was. The city has tabled the street annulment to figure out which code governs annulling roads, and whether it can be permanent or temporary. Then this morning while on WAJR, Giuliani kept calling the city's attorney Mr. Simpleton as an insult, which is pretty much guaranteeing we will be seeing rhetoric majorly increasing about The Standard and just in general in the city. Sounds like it might be an interesting summer here.

You know it's getting real bad for all when Giuliani is out Biaforing Biafora.

Maybe someone should sent some nice decorations to 123 Pleasant St and Mountain People's co-op and all his shanty houses he cares to own.

Looks like Guiliani came forward and admitted he was behind the ad in the dominion post last week that attacked the university, WVU has responded to it, but I'd bet WVU won't take this one lightly behind closed doors. I don't know what Guiliani hopes to gain from pissing everyone off (WVU, City, Other Developers, some citizens of this area), but I really hope he just pissed off the sleeping giant WVU can be and I really hope they burry him.
