Also, in today's D Post, Granville is again trying to annex the Star City Bridge area. The only reason I can see for them to do that would be to turn it into a speed trap.
It should be denied for that reason alone. Figure out a better way to get cash flow in your town instead of harassing motorists.

Jersey Mikes opens today at 10 AM. Not sure how true it is but a coworker mentioned they might be doing a ticket system for the first day or couple days. Essentially you buy a ticket for a sub at a discounted price and they will be donating all of the proceeds to WVU Children's Hospital.

Slight addendum, apparently they have been and are handing out these cards around town.

Can't wait i'm going to try to stop there tomorrow. I just wish we would here something from across the road soon in westridge. We are now in the second week of April and still nothing. Its very disappointing and looking more and more like its at least next summer tll anything done. Drury has future locations listed up to spring of 2020 and Morgantown isn't on the list. It does look like it will be a nice hotel by the drawings I saw. I actually in my thousands of hotel stays have never stayed in a Drury Inn.I would think another office or two would be starting soon and look forward to seeing the progress of the office tarted tomorrow.

I worked nearby and stopped in for lunch. It was crowded but not crazy like the popeyes was a few years back. Food was pretty good. Better than Subway. Lol

I'd bet if Drury were to start this May the earliest they would be done is next fall (end of 2020), especially if they intend to build a 7-11 story hotel. I did notice they have Morgantown now listed as a future property but nothing about the hotel yet.
