PA and Ohio have multiple cities that have more population in them, or in them and their immediate suburbs than our entire state, and each also has major research intensive universities. There is no basis for a comparison there. They logically would have more opportunities, but not necessarily more opportunities per capita. I have the impression NCWV is very competitive in terms of technology jobs availability. We have a number of federal organizations with significant presences here... NASA, FBI, Dept. of Agriculture, and Bureau of Prisons. Especially NASA and FBI are research intensive organizations.
