According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Morgantown has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the United States. Obviously WVU has a great deal to do with this situation.

My question is: how difficult is it to find professional employment at WVU? (I'm not talking about teaching or being a professor; I would aim for a job in administration.).

I have a bachelor's degree and 20 years of work experience, and I'd like to use my education and experience on my next job.

google wvu job bulletin. You probably won't have a hard time getting a job there. Also check out research corp jobs. Also WVU but from another funding source. Good luck!

Unless things have changed at WVU, the hardest thing is getting your foot in the door. You may have to take something less than what you are qualified for so you can later move up. Typically, the upper level administrative jobs are given to the inside the system canidate first. Good luck!

Heather Kirby Bre$ch being one of the more notable examples of that 'inside the candidate system...3 mil a year and a phony MBA....ha ha ha...still sweating it out for the 'gupper...feel that's pretty good for a WV high school education...as the BS degree might just be a real BS degree too...

GHO: When you are governor...can I have a 'do nothing, cushy job with a great paycheck?

What I would really like is a job like Sec. of State...going around to the spa's on the state expense account...entertaining the laidies and getting a massage/other...and having someone to drive while I did a little 'fact finding in the backseat...

somehow, these thoughts remind me of someone...

If I lose my drivers license for speeding? And you were Gov., would you give me a job like that?

Would you? Would you? Could I have a big mafia style hat to wear too? Could I? Could I?

I believe that the WVU jobs website is ...
www.jobs.wvu.edu.com (http://www.jobs.wvu.edu.com - broken link)
