Help! Any ideas appreciated. My dad has a house in Star City, near Morgantown but lives in TN. We're looking for any ideas or tips for finding a new tenant.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Yes, ads in the Daily Athenaeum are $20 for a week. You could also advertise in the town's newspaper, The Dominion Post, as well as the Fairmont newspaper.

Morgantown to Bridgeport = about 30 to 35 minutes driving time as long as traffic is moving well.

There probably are real estate brokers or property management companies that can handle it for you... that might be the way to go as an absentee landlord.

I second that opinion. A real-estate company will process the credit applications for your tenants and collect their rental checks.

Or you could rent it to someone that would take care of all repairs, such as a clogged toilet. We are looking for a 4 bedroom home, hopefully to be available in June. So even if you go through a realtor, please let me know!
