Then the decree went forth from Ceasar Mollohanis in the year 1990 that all the congressional district would be taxed...everyone, every boat, every animal...all that breathed should be taxed to create the wide green revenue stream that would never end.
All the layers of liberal city/county/state government should have their pensions and pay raises and new layers would be added until the weight of government would be unbearable...Only California would be taxed to a greater degree...
In Morgantown, many took up their carpet bags and moved to Uniontown and adopted the special way of speaking that signifies ald Beesontown and its surrounds...
Wiser travelers, looking for a home, chose Mt. Morris. Quaint...two actual streets and a great little pizza/burger joint called Josies...
If I were looking for a home and wanted the Morgantown culture and the Pennsylvania tax attitude for my retirement business...Mt. Morris and its rural enviorns would be on my 'A' List...they really are 'Opened for business'.

We know several folks who live in Uniontown, PA... and come into Morgantown for work, church, etc. We're only 5 mountainous miles from the PA border.

Check out auto ins. rates between PA and WV.
I was shocked when we discovered WV auto ins. is up there in the top three!
and I thought ins. was rediculously high when we lived in FL. I was wrong!

Is it really that bad for auto insurance? I'm 24 and I only pay $75/month for 2 cars...one of which is supercharged.

Be sure you're comparing apples to apples...

Value of vehicle, miles driven, coverages, etc. can cause auto rates to vary widely.

Best thing to do is go to an online quote site, like Geico's, and plug in identical information, except one time with a PA zip and another time with a WV zip.

True, we're not insuring a Benz or Beemer, but I mean we're insuring 4 vehicles. A new Ford pickup, a an 04 Jeep Liberty, and my 05 VW Jetta, and an older pickup truck. We're not going in the hole with our car insurance, but we shopped around a lot, and looked at a lot of different agencies for the best policy and price. It takes work.
