I'm not currently looking to purchase or refi at this current moment, but this non-traditional method of financing looks interesting. Just wondering if anyone has gone this route to finance or refinance and how they would rate the program?
Truth in Equity makes some very promising claims of saving thousands of $$ over the life of the loan in comparison to traditional mortgage scenarios. They also claim it will allow you to pay off your home in just 5-7 years on average. I just wonder if their claims are too good to be true? If anyone has gone this route, I'd love to hear how you rate it. Also, people in the mortgage industry, please feel free to weigh in.
Are traditional lenders offering this or aware of how this can be used to finance home purchases?
I tried to do a search to see if this topic had been previously covered here but didn't find anything, so I apologize if this is a repeat post.
