I didn't know where to direct this question so I hope I am in the right place.

I am pretty sure I already know the answer to this but thought I would seek the input of others. My husband and I are filing our taxes and they are a little more complicated than normal. We filed separately last year but since then we have gotten married, sold my home, bought our home and a slew of other things. My question is, we sold my home in April of last year, I paid mortgage interest on it from January 2010 to May 2010. Shouldn't I have received a statement from my lender for those 5 months? I would think so but just want to make sure.

Yes, you should have. Do they have your current address?
You might be able to go on their website and register to get that info too.
Or call them.

Ok thank you, that is what I thought. I have a feeling that my address may have been the issue...we had to change the forwarding address twice and in the midst of all that, might have gotten lost.
