I close on Monday and just got notice that my underwriter is asking for an updated 401K statement. I only get them once a quarter so the one they have is the most updated one they have. My lender tells me that is not acceptable. What am I supposed to do?

Should be able to use the most recent pdf, and the most thorough computer printout showing balance.

If it's Fidelity, and there is a branch within driving distance, go there and obtain a signed or stamped statement showing balance. Fidelity is awesome and has done this for me on many occasions.

Do you not have any online access to your 401K? You shoudl be able to get something from there. If not, do you have a 1-800 number you can call to make changes? They may be able to help as well.

Here's the problem - if you close on July 1 (Monday), your March 31 401 statement is 90+ days old and considered stale. The processor should have picked this up from the beginning.
