Hi, does anyone have any advice? I defaulted on my direct loans a year ago and i made an agreement to pay 9 payments to myeddebt.com . As of 8 days ago I paid the 9th payment.

I have been approved to close on a house at the end of November with a FHA loan provided myeddebt will clear CAIVRS. They see I repaid, they acknowledge I did, but wont fax out that I have to my lender.

Does anyone have any idea what to do I talked to the supervisor there today and they said it could be 90 days before they clear it. Does anyone have contacts to management there or anything that can help me out? I will be homeless - without a place to live in 22 days.

I held up to my end of the deal why wont they?

Tuesday morning go into your local US Congressional representative's office and ask for someone in constituent services. Bring all of your documentation, including proof of payment and all of your contact information. Even if Congress is on break (okay, they're broken), their staff will be working.

Don't mess around - you're time is limited, make sure your lender is working on the rest of your underwriting conditions.

You can find your representative here: Find Your Representative · House.gov Mobile
(Hope link works, writing from phone)
