Job transfer (loan, loan, equity, Florida)

My husband was told that he would be transferred with his job from Georgia to Florida. At the current time we have a mortgage & current. With that being said we cannot afford to pay this mortgage & afford a house in Florida. Really need help! Can anyone offer suggestions or have been through this?

Yes, you can have the new loan contingent on selling and closing your old home.

If you have enough equity you can lease out your old home if you want to keep it.

You can rent a place in Florida until you find a good home and aren't pressed to buy what is on the market today.

Uh, sell the house? Husband lives an an Extended Stay - perhaps covered by the company for 3-6 months, as you manage the sale of the home with a great realtor?
