Have you tried speaking to management at the mortgage company? They should be able to fix it you might not be talking to the right person. I have found large banks like Wells Fargo have a lot of workers who can only follow procedures while a few have the power to do things. Your only other recourse is to hire an attorney, or refinance the loan probably cost less then using an attorney unless they will take it on contingency.
There has to be more to this. When did you take out the loan? Have you actually pulled your first trust note and read it? If you are correct and the only thing that makes it a balloon is the word "balloon" on page one of the note - this is what you do: make a copy and write WF Servicing and tell them you are suffering a financial hardship because someone mistakenly mislabeled the note. Let them know without a remedy, you will have to consult legal cousel and notify the CFPB of your problem. Give them 30 days to respond. BTW, I am not certain the would be a complaint to be handled, but it's worth a try.
Contact your elected official's office - they all have a constituent services (is taxpayers & voter services) . Go down to their office if possible. Call any local "news on your side" type.
