When the stock market tanks, interest rate pricing improves. For those involved in active purchases and potential refinances this morning would be the best day to lock in quite a while.

Sometimes these dips can be very short-lived, so just trying to help anyone who is looking at locking.

Tell my buyer that I quoted a VA loan at 3.25% earlier this week paying half a point, he called me back yesterday and said he wanted to lock it. As soon as he called i told him market changed. He cried bait and switch. I told him if he would have bit the bait last week I would have hooked him!

He is still happy with a 3.5% Locked him yesterday.
