Wife has foreclosure. We are getting married next month. I want to buy a house at the end of year. Obviousely, I don't want the lender to use her information to get a loan. I am OK with her signing the closing documents at closing....which is required by Florida law.
Someone told me today that since we are married, the lender MUST include her credit information as part of the loan qualification process. This scared me....as I thought that I could use only my information if I want and leave hrr out of the loan part. Can someone confirm which is true ?
