I want/need to know how long a person must be employed for before an FHA loan can be approved in NJ? Specifically, I want to know will an FHA loan get approved if a person has been at their place of employment for only 1 day (new job, just started). I read in one of the posts on here that a person must be employed for at least 1 day in order to get the FHA Loan, I think the person was referring to the state of Texas. I want to know if the same rule applies to NJ??? Does anyone know?? Any help/input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
FHA is a federal program, so the only differences would be borrowing limits per state and things of that nature. Your lender is the one one who would determine if it's a problem, they want steady employment for 2 years, and steady amount or increasing income.http://homeguides.sfgate.com/fha-emp...ines-9178.html
