I'm still waiting for final approval and I'm being told that they are very busy at the end of the month and I should know something by Wednesday. When the bank is approving the loan, do they schedule a closing date too? Then that way they can inform the buyer of their approval and closing date at one time.

Just sitting on pins and needles here.

the closing date is usually picked within 30days of signing the purchase contract. The lender's job is to try and meet it
