Mortgage Without Current Address? (pre-approved, bank account, close, buying)

Our plan is to sell our current home and then head to the area (another state) we are moving to look for a new home. We will be living in our motorhome while doing the searching and buying. It just clicked that we would not have an address to put on the mortgage application or to get pre-approved. As far as I know we cannot even open up a new bank account without a current address. My current bank does not operate in the new location. I am having my mail forwarded to my brother's address who will be close by our new home.

I don't know. I don't work for your current bank. That's where you should be asking the question.

Possibilities:

1 - Rent a space in an RV park by the month when you get there and use that as your address.
2 - Change banks, now, to a national bank that operates in all states.
3 - Get pre-approved with a national bank or national mortgage company.
4 - Use your brother's address as your mailing address.

There may be other possibilities.

And don't wait until the last minute.
