I do not have a problem paying my mortgage, but I wondering how I can get a deal such as lowering my interest and principle?

Unless you are late on your payments, or have a high interest rate. There is no reason to modify your loan.

I just want to get an appraisel and lower my principle to what the home is worth. I want the same deal as the foreclosure people.

Yeah, don't we all? Let us know how that reasoning works for you. Not saying you're wrong. But living responsibly is now punished in this country, while buying more than you can possibly afford is just fine. We're suckers, eh?

I fully agree. We need to storm out elected officials NOT to make it so unfair for the responsible. Dime to a dollar the RESPONSIBLE people donate more money to important causes, including political campaigns.
