I found a HUD home that is owned by Pemco in an area that I really like. It has a piece of paper on the window saying it is HUD owned but it isnt listed yet. I found it on a real estate website like zillow from when the owner was trying to sell it. It didnt sell and is now HUD owned. Do you know if I could contact anyone to get it listed? I really like the place and have been pre qualified for that price range for FHA and conventional. I would really like to put in an offer as soon as possible. Any help would be appreciated!

Im in Georgia.
Thanks

Several years ago I wanted a house like that. The bank owned it, repo, and I contacted the bank to get info and try to buy it. the bank said it was already at HUD and they could not sell it. I tried to contact HUD with no luck. What I did was to wait until it hit the list of avaiable houses and I put in a bid through a realtor.
As an aside, I got it for $4000 less than the bank wanted for it when they had it listed. HUD's minimum bid was $4000 lower and that's what I bid and got it.
Be patient and good luck in getting it.

Have you visited the HUD website to find it. Sometimes properties are located there and if so, you can put in a bid for them. Do you have realtor? They might be able to help.
