If your DTI is above a bank's front end, but below their back ratio, are they likely to qualify you?

You would need to provide more information for someone to give you an answer. Like annerk said, it depends on the whole package. the higher the credit scores, the lower the loan to value, the more assets, etc... all will determine whether you are approved or not.

It was just a question on whether or not it is possible. Based on your two answers, you are not automatically disqualified if you have a strong portfolio. I am not looking as of yet. Just trying to learn at this point.

Most lenders I work with don't even look at front end, just back end.
