I've been in sales most of my adult life and am thinking about looking for a job as Mortgage Broker. I've seen a handful of acquaintances start out, make no money and leave soon thereafter. I do take into account that many aren't self motivated, or sales types, and that's why they may not have made any money. I also know a few that have made a good living out of it.

I've run my own businesses over the years and am a self starter who can talk to anybody. So I think it's something that would fit my profile. I see that some companies will train you as well. What is the best route to get started?

Thanks in advance.

Best way to start is to work under a experienced broker as their assistant. This will provide you on the job training and a paycheck.
