yeah, we werent planning on using it for that . we were originally, but changed our minds.
As is, Friday the appraisal came back(fha), and said we need a new garage roof. Realtor wont return my phone call , he just must not work on weekends. anyway, it is a bank owned property so I doubt they will do anything to help pay for it, so I guess we will see. I swear, if its not one thing its another.

A significant deposit can be $200. It depends on your loan size and if your explanation is practical. It doesn't necessarily have to be documented. I had a group of co-workers that were all paid by check, not direct deposit, and paid weekly. They would make $2000 and $3000 counter deposits. If you counted up their paychecks, they were walking around with uncashed checks in their pockets and only went to the bank once or twice a month. They didn't trust direct deposit. The explanation needs to make sense and if not needed for the transaction, it's not a big deal.
