ADRIAN, Mich. -A man plans to ride his Harley-Davidson about 300 miles from the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan to the Ohio border without using his hands to steer to raise money for Parkinson's disease research. Phil Comar of Adrian told The Daily Telegram that the Sunday ride is in memory of his father, Robert, who died in 2008.
The article doesn't say how he plans to control the throttle. Any guesses?
I was going to ask the same thing. On top of the challenge of riding 300 miles with no hands where would you rest your hands? I imagine that aspect of it would be just as tiring.

I hope the cops give him a ticket for willful reckless driving every mile until they throw his dumb ass in jail. Giving this clown any publicity is almost a crime also. *****ing nut jobs like this really **** me off.
I hope he somehow is alone on the road, has a permit etc etc. There is no way he won't use his hands a little bit. Once he is at speed it's no big deal to use no hands and rest them in his lap. Gotta look the hell out for road flaws though.
Every so often I do up my zipper on my jacket using both hands, the bike is stable plenty.
I have a throttle lock to rest my right hand on longer rides, so this stunt isn't hard to do, so long as he has nothing in the way.
On the other hand the road isn't his track .
Maybe the next ride will be blindfolded for the blind eh?

doesent matter, he never got 300 something on a harley anyway
