Wonderful boat to for wake sports, or just taking your friends and family out on (up to 11 with a weight limit of 2200lbs.). The 242 Limited S comes with the wake tower. The power from the twin engines is phenomenal and because its a jet it steers like its on rails. The 2012 and newer 242's have a directional propulsion system that helps in low speed steering, and docking maneuvers, plus you can buy aftermarket fins to help as well. Yamaha boats are built with an eye toward quality, but these boats are best in sheltered water, i.e. bays, lakes, smooth rivers. You can take them into the ocean but they bounce a little more since they weigh less. Of course less weight means better fuel economy so everything is a tradeoff.
