I just finished building a minibike with a predator 212 for the engine. But i cant drive the bike fully unchoked. If i turn the choke too far, the bike does about 20 with me sitting on it without me even moving the throttle. So in order to drive it without killing myself i turn the choke until the bike just barely starts to move, and then it works fine and the bike doesnt runaway from me. It has a basic centrifugal clutch wheel.
Is it bad for the engine that i run it partially choked? Is there a way to fix the clutch so i can unchoke the engine all the way?
Sounds like the throttle cable is not adjusted right. The throttle blades should be fully closed at idle and the bike should be getting air through the idle circuit of the carb. (You should see a small hole in the throttle blade or a small cutout in the carb throttle bore that is your idle circuit.
