Interesting. In as much as cycling is used as a form of exercise, all these e-bikes are not an advance. But if it's just for transportation and you don't want to get sweaty or exert yourself, I can certainly see the appeal.

Supposedly they are good exercise. Most have pedal assist which makes it easy but you are doing something, and if you pedal one way the bike can take you back. I think I will end up with one......waiting for the latest advances to kick in with a nice price.......

This also helps old people remain active rather than kept home or in a home.
I prefer the Yamaha Ebikes. Thinking about getting one for leisure and commuting to work.
