If you like dirtbiking, but hate the 2 and a half hour trudge to Ocotillo, then FOX is a whole lot closer.
Now that the pandemic rules are relaxing, they've opened up the facility to riders of ages 5 to old.
They have 5 tracks, that I've seen.
1. They have a "tot track" for the youngest riders. Quite small, with gentle rolling hills. Very easy to help the youngsters get their feet wet.
2. There's a another track that offers more natural terrain, in a gulley. Little kids like this track too.
3. The mini track is for ages 5-16, with engine size limit of 125cc.
4. The "VET" track for us oldsters. (This is where you might find me.)
5. The Supercross track is for the pro's and fast riders. (No way in heck, am I getting on this track!) Saw some supercross pro's there yesterday. Barcia, Brayton and lots of factory Yamaha riders were putting on a show. Quite a few of the factories are routinely there.
The track is closed on Tuesday/Wednesdays, for track maintenance.
