...but I am starting to get the hang of it. Since I am having a lot of the chrome and steel on my harley, copper and brass plated, I went a little nuts on the Vespa with a can of copper spray paint today. The first few parts, I did on newspaper, which turned out to be a little rough and uneven. Then, I decided to hang the parts like the guys on TV do, and they came out much smoother.
I'm thinking it will only look right if ALL chrome colored parts are changes to copper. This is going to turn out to be a lot more challenging than I originally thought.
I added reflective racing stripes and installed the rear crash bars. I also put on a couple of Ferrari magnets I had sitting in the garage for comedic effect. though the Italian flags on the emblems do match the theme of the bike too.
I Like it, you paint sooo god... congratulations, nice work.
