I'm wondering if anybody has a good shop they use for tires and install on LI...In suffolk county if possible...I have a Yamaha Venture with a shaft drive and I'm probably going to be looking into front and rear tires...

Got no clue about LI... But more than tires you should have the swingarn serviced, a shafty will want that each rear tire change, for normal wear out.

Best bet is goggle a local Yamaha Dealer. Then price the same with local indys.

I was going to go with Metzlers and I hate the dealers here...Most have no clue...

If you get Metzlers, get them made in Germany. The South American made Metzlers are not up to snuff.

Stay away from NYC Choppers in Southampton. You will get ripped off.

I have met Mike from Gravesend Cycles. He seems like a really good guy. I have never had him do any work on my bike, but after talking to him a few times, I would trust him with the job.
