I've got a huge problem, which I can't deal with. My task is to write about white-black female friendship in Southern cinematography and I have no idea about it as I'm from Poland. Could you please help me and write titles of the movies which more or less deal with this subject. I'm really desperate so plese help!

Can't think of anything sepcific to that subject, but you might want to watch a movie such as Cross Creek a 1983 movie with Mary Steenburgen as Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings or a 1959 movie Imitation of Life adapted from a Fannie Hurst novel with Lana Turner and Juanite Moore. Also you might get some ideas from a book by Sharon Monteith Advancing Sisterhood? Interracial Friendships in Contemporary Southern Fiction.

I'm confused.

Do you mean cinematography, as in the movie is black and white?

Or do you mean cinema, as in one character is black and the other is white?

I'm just not sure what you mean by "Southern cinematography." Did you perhaps mean "Southern cinema," as in films that take place in the South?
