Its not surprising that CSX was involved with the originally incident , i mean every Rail Fanner knows there the BP of the RR and a ticking time bomb. This movie looks to good to pass up though...

Here's an actual video of a train that was blown off the tracks by a tornado, and the very scary image of a tank car loaded with some very nasty stuff coming right at you and you can't stop it. A horror film by any other name.

One critic thinks this movie could be a runaway smash. I hope so. I'm a fan of Denzel Washington, as well as the RR industry.

@DitchLights, I thought you'd be a RR'er with a name like that. I was on the other side of the business, as a shipper, working for Domino Sugar in Baltimore forty years ago, and then 30 more years in defense transportation with the Army in Washington, DC.

@Nexis4Jersey, I'm a fan but I don't hang out at trackside. I tend more to the history side and muck around a bit with model trains.

Movie opens today. I'll be there.

Let me guess.....

This movie is in 2-D,
and that other big pile of stinky was in 3-D?

Sorry , my bad, I keep thinking creative artistic types are in charge in Hollywood. I should know better at my advanced age; I just keep hoping. {big sigh}

We saw this movie today. I was a nervous wreck through the whole thing.

A super tense film that REALLY conveys the awesome power of those monsterous machines. Unstoppable is right. Holy Cow!

I give it a 10 out of 10.

Yeah, I saw that.
This is MUCH better in my opinion.
The stunts in Speed were unrealistic & dumb. This one - not nearly so much.

Since today is my birthday my daughter asked me what movie I wanted to see after we had lunch and since "Burlesque" doesn't come out til November 24th, I decided on "Unstoppable" and we found it quite suspenseful.
