Interesting that three of your four relate to existing films.

I generally have a hard enough time keeping up with current films, and I find that paying too much attention to future films spoils the fun - you're apt to learn too much about the film.

I wish they would quit remaking films. A remake is hardly ever as good as the original and thats if the original was even good at all.

I'm really interested in seeing the Red Dawn remake, as well. I'm not a huge fan of the original, but I think the movie had a lot of potential. Hopefully the remake will execute the story better. I can't say that I really know of many unreleased movies because it's not something I look into, but I am looking forward to seeing the next Harry Potter film coming out later this week.

The Thing, this will be the 3rd remake of the movie. I guess hollywood is just flat out of original ideas.

I'd like to see a remake of Forbidden Planet.

Hollywood is not out of original ideas--they just suffer from a permanent case of investment angst. Movies cost so much these days that producers tend to bet on what they think of as sure moneymakers rather than gamble on a fresh story. Heck, even Avatar was a remake--of Dances With Wolves...

But here's a potential movie that has had rumors flying the last few years: Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged! Has anyone heard whether it is finally going into production?

It's not really a remake if it's a prequel right?

"The Jetsons" animated movie due out in 2012.

4-5 decades later it is STILL a futuristic show.
