Craig was a good Bond...sorry to hear he has apparently lost the role.

I figure the odds of an actor being gay are fairly high so one can't be too taken aback.

p.s. - The title of the above article is very poorly worded.

Well, obviously the only solution for all of us female fans who swooned with lust when Daniel went swimming in "Casino Royale" should be to start a petition drive for the Bond producers to solve their dilemma with an even steamier scene in Bond 23:

Picture Clive Owen (another one who makes my heart beat faster) as the guest star locking lips with Daniel while they horseplay in the ocean -- and then show a shark fin behind them before they disappear under the waves as the scene fades to black. Then hire Leo as the next Bond.

Is nothing sacred? I'm totally bummed out here.

I doubt he's lost the role and I doubt he's gay.. I *do* think that it would be horrible to lose him as Bond, though. If anyone here has read the James Bond books they would find that Daniel Craig portrays him REALLY well- James Bond is kind of an ******* in the books.

I do not care what actors do in their spare time. Craig is a heckuva Bond.

One can never disprove the allegation of being gay. I've been accused of being gay and of being Jewish. Both allegations are baseless. Only guy who ever kissed me is my dad.

I don't care about Daniel, but way to separate the character from the actor.

I guess its true that Hollywood only allows heterosexuals actors to play the gay character, while gay actors are reduced to only playing the drag queen, much less Bond.
It seems that gay actors are the female actors of medieval times (where the women are all played by men).

I doubt he's gay, and if he is who cares? He was one of the better bonds, (although in truth I don't care about the bond movies, but atleast he was active and he looked like he could run a block without going into cardiac arrest. I like the physicality that he brought to the role. The guy is tuff, gay or not.

Anyway, personally I think this is all bul l sh t, just so people will still see the movie with Clive Owen in it.

Besides, I think I just heard recently that he was dating Rachel Weisz. Wow, she is so good looking. I was sort of jealous of that. I have always thought that she was one of the prettiest, natural looking girls in hollywood. And I think that she is too good looking for him..That's my two cents....

That article, had you bothered to read the whole thing, stated that it was unsubstantiated gossip. Craig is not gay.
