The ice storm has knocked out our cable for the last two days.

That's okay, though, because I'm a reader. Plus, I have over 1500 DVDs and plenty of them won Oscars.

Yay! My daughter (a Film Major in college) has given me a whole list of oldies to DVR for her...including "Wings".

Hope your cable is working......That's a lot of DVD's.......my collection is far more modest. I finally got to see CITIZEN KANE.....one of Hollywood's best flicks.

As I watched....I thought I perceived a lot of circus magnate....John Ringling in the film as well as William Randolph Hearst, but my research did not find any mention of Ringling..

Pitts, this is a phenomenal thread. Thank you for taking the time to give us this info. I thought it was a nominee a day, but these movies are running all day. That is such a great network.
