The Bridges of Madison county. That scene of Clint's look of despair as she drove away was very moving.

Here are some that I rated a 9 or a 10 on IMDB:

"Heaven" with Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi (2002)
"My First Mister" Leelee Sobieski and Albert Brooks (2001)
"Worlds Apart", Danish = To verdener (2009)
"Lonesome Jim", Casey Affleck, (2005)
"Sunday" David Suchet, Lisa Harrow (1997)
"Autumn Tale", Beatrice Romand. French = Conte d'automne (1998)
"The Lover", Jane March (1992)
"Attention Shoppers", Casey Affleck (2000)

"Always", Holly Hunter, Richard Dreyfuss (1989) (Those other ones aren't all this corny, but I had to list at least one that is generally familiar)

And, of course, "A Man and a Woman" and "Umbrellas of Cherbourg" and "Unberable Lightness of Being".

Some Kind of Wonderful 1987

Watts: Because I'm driving you crazy and you're driving me crazy and I'd rather not see you and have you think good things about me than have you see me and hate me. 'Cause I can't afford to have you hate me, Keith. The only things I care about in this goddamn life are me and my drums and you
