I started this thread on the book side also

When I was in high school we used to make "the 10 albums you would take with you to a deserted island list", you know the magical island with an outlet and a record player

I am curious what would be the 10 movies you would bring with you in a scenario where you would never be able to obtain another movie.

I am creating my list now, and will post it when it is complete.

I don't imagine either list will be easy.

The 10 movies I must have on a desert island

1. a DVD on how to build fire with stuff you'd find on a desert island
2. a DVD on how to find potable water on a desert island
3. a DVD on how to find edible plants on a desert island
4. How to fish DVD
5. How to clean fish DVD
6. The Basics of Boat Building
7. Caddyshack
8. Advanced Boat Building
9. Napoleon Dynamite
10. Precious (to remind myself that even though I'm on a desert island, there's someone with a more depressing life who is worse-off than I am. Seriously, was this the most depressing movie ever?)

I changed my mind. Delete Breakfast Club and replace with Empire of the Sun. I can watch that over & over too.
