I liked 300. good popcorn flick. plus, as a straight girl, I definitely liked seeing half naked, (digitally) buff guys do battle
I wasn't a huge fan of Watchmen. 3 out of 5 for me. visually, it looked good, but it was a little too faithful to the graphic novel (meaning good chunks of it could have been edited out, IMHO)
haven't seen Sucker Punch and have no desire to do so until it comes out on DVD (same as the other two). on paper, it sounds good, but the reviews haven't thrilled me
not a Superman fan at all, but I'd be interested to see his take on it
Sucker Punch had a lot of things wrong with it but I still enjoyed it. I seem to be in the minority with that opinion. Many times when a movie is produced, written and directed by the same person the quality suffers.
Here's the thing, people whine about how "300" and "Sucker Punch" have crappy plot lines. Let's be realistic here - who's watching these movies for the plot line?
I like 300, interesting enough and plenty of drool worthy men in it.
I didn't care for Watchmen but my husband really liked it.
We're going to go see Sucker Punch and the reason we're going has nothing to do with the story. We want to see good looking girls on the big screen in revealing clothing shooting guns. Who cares if the story sucks?
