I was in a pretty good mood before viewing:
The Town
Piranha
The Horseman

Now I feel like crap. Oddly, these movies did pretty well at Rotten Tomatoes. I now have less faith in Rotten Tomatoes.

The Town is another run of the mill bank robber movie starring BenAffleck. Ben could be out acted by a wood 2 by 4. Point Break is much better.

Piranha is a bloodfest T&A show that miraculously received high ratings. The highlight was Ving Rhames using an outboard motor to chop up teaming prehistoric piranhas.

The Horseman may be the darkest movie that I have ever suffered through. Avoid this unless you delight in torture and hammers bashing in heads. Yet it also received high ratings.

There are a number--many of them on Lifetime.

Pertaining to recovery, abuse and the impossible dream of happiness.

Thankfully I can't recall the names at present.

Michael Douglas has made some disturbing films. 'The Game'--so strange--intriguing and unsettling--good film. He makes good films.

Jack Nicholson--One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Shining--and most notably 'A Few Good Men'>>>

Warren Beatty--'Reds', Bonnie and Clyde--several others. Anything involving politics is disturbing.

Psycho

The Birds

Sweet Baby Jane--many of Betty Davis films

A good number of Susan Sarandon's films

Judy Garland's life story

Vivien Leigh--enjoyed the drama and went off the deep end because of it

I will never see this film 'Running With Scissors'--Annette Bening

Quite of few of Kevin Spacey's films--and he certainly chooses unusual plays to produce and direct in London--something by Kafka.

Gwyneth--I can't keep up with her--strange film about an overweight woman

I spent some time in a film forum--could hardly believe what is considered 'Great' by those deeply involved in the Arts.

The person that can never return to the US--wife killed by Manson family--sexually molested a young girl--oh what films he must have made--and how they would upset me if I saw them.

I do better with Spielberg and his friends--and I guess everyone in LA is somehow networked together.

Horrible movies that made me mad that I even watched them:

Chloe (Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson and Amanda Seyfried)
An American Haunting
The Town
Semi-Pro (Will Ferrell)

Those are just off the top of my head. I'm sure I'll think of more.
