i didn't see the play but a couple of my friends did and they said it was good. I won't watch it before I see the movie because then I'll spend 90% of the time comparing the play to the movie. So far my favorite movie has been The Family That Preys

His movies are enjoyable if you like to be beat in the head with a lesson. I know there are the more dense types who need to be taught that way to learn something good, but I'll pass.

The Family that Prays was good, but all of the others seems to be the same thing over and over again. He's not diverse at all when it comes to plots and characters. I doubt Ill be watching this one. Or maybe Ill red box it one day when I'm bored.

If you've seen one Tyler Perry movie; you've seen them all. Expect god thrown around everywhere, spouses treating the other like ****, Madea being extra amongst other predictable BS. Won't be seeing it.

I did hear Tyler Perry will be replacing Morgan Freeman as the new Alex Cross [Kiss the Girl and Along Came a Spider]. That sounds interesting considering I love the Alex Cross series. I have faith in Tyler because his acting is pretty decent IMO
