I have this old movie that comes back to me once in a while but I can only remember bits and pieces of it - not the title of the movie or the actors.
It dates back to the 80's I believe and is the story of an Indian man (American Indian - not East Indian) who lives in the city (can't remember which) and who gets a visit from his grandfather. This old man is actually a tribe sorcerer and he tells his city grand-son that he must return to the village to be their champion and to fight off the threat of an evil witch lady.
One of the scenes that I recall was that of a black car, filled with the witch's men, which would teleport in front of them (while they were on the road) and then behind them.
Also, there is a scene where the old sorcerer put some powered in the middle of the road creating an invisible wall into which the trailing black car crashed and, of course, caught fire. When our hero tried to help the men escape the burning car they (being totally evil and dedicated to the cause) simply attempted to hold on to him and burn him alive as well.
There was also a scene where the witch teleported a poisonous snake to where our heroes where sleeping which successfully bit the sorcerer (who proceeded to burning said snake with some spell).
Anyway, if anyone has any idea what movie I am thinking about please let me know.
