Jesus, if she was any good, I would say go for it. But she sucks. The Hurt Locker was one of the worse films I have ever seen. I wonder how she will get the psyche of a bunch of Devgru operators right in the film When almost all those guys are odd fellows and the like. Not your typical grunt. This I don't like, put Ridly Scott or someone with talent.....

The movie was highly overrated, no depth, nothing special. If anything the only reason it got attention were due to several factors. One she was the former wife of James Cameron. Two it was on war. This country is highly patriotic, she made good of taking advantage of that. Most war films are highly praised by Hollywood so long as they are not on humans fighting aliens and contains all that is suppose to make a movie good . And if you don't understand number two you won't understand three. Three, its a business and highly competitive. You think Hollywood would give the award or nomination to film that appeared in only a couple hundred theaters? Even though the film was vastly superior to anything nominated by the Oscars? As if!!
Hollywood can sometimes make good films. And that is sometimes. The Hurt Locker was not one of them.

One of the best movies I've seen! While I was hearing the details on the operation, I kept thinking I'd would love to see this in a movie.

Great, this is going to be another joke movie. Hurt Locker movie was a joke to anyone who served in the military, and the fact that it earned an oscar is a disgrace. Go and do a google search on Hurt Locker movie and you'll be be surprized to see how many people out there disliked this movie.

You mean I can't do a google search on any other movie that ever came out and find people who didn't like it?
Who cares if it wasnt accurate. It was a movie. Movies=entertainment. They didn't say it was a documentary.

While a film is suppose to be entertaining. The Hurt Locker was not, except for the sheeple. I find that many people only found it good because the critics gave it good reviews and because it won an award. So that must have meant it was good, right? No. Sadly people don't think with their own brain. Instead if so many people said it was good then it was good. The movie sucked.

I watched it before it got awards and I dont read critic reviews. I'm not in the military and don't know much about what really goes on. I sat down and enjoyed the movie. I have heard many people say that its not realistic if you have been in the military. That's all good and fine but I never read that it was suppose to be true to life.
I don't see any car enthusiasts here blasting the new fast and furious movie because it was unrealistic. I don't see any cat lovers here bashing Garfield because cats don't talk in real life.
My point is, its a movie. Its entertainment. If they had claimed it was a documentary then I could understand all the fuss over the movie. You either like it or you don't, but don't come here and say that would never happen in the military because anything can happen in a movie.
