Adam Baldwin looked so slim and young after his health scare
and losing weight.
Now that I think of it the men are protrayed as pretty bad...even cutey Skaarsgard
could have come off "better"...without giving anything away.
This wasn't my favorite Woody Allen film as I thought the screenplay was shaky in parts (could have lived the dentist scenes). However, Blanchett's performance was indeed astounding. It should be a cakewalk for her to second Oscar given her sweep of the majority of the critics' awards. It was certainly one of the best lead actress performance we've seen in quite some time.
I'm actually a little surprised at how many people are still rooting for Bullock over Blanchett. I can only assume most have not seen Blue Jasmine. I thought Gravity was Sandra's best, but she really only had one scene to elevate her performance over your stock action/sci-fi heroine performance. That's not enough to compete with the sort of well-rounded, bravado actors' performance put on by Blanchett in Blue Jasmine.

Agreed. Blanchett's acting is far superior to Bullock's. As someone said on the "Gravity" film thread, you still think, It's Sandra Bullock, not an astronaut. (And I like Bullock.)
I refuse to watch a Woody Allen film...and I hope he burns for what he did to his daughter(s).
