I remember when "Devils" came out. Rough film to have to show at the time, but was impressed that the audiences took it maturely. Russell was one of those people to stretch the culture.

I had not heard...I haven't seen his movies in years but I enjoyed his movies a lot when I was in high school and college. Gothic and Lair of the White Worm I remember particularly. Did he also do The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover (I'm missing something in that title, I know....)? And a Zed and Two NAughts?

RIP Ken....

I never saw Women in Love (I was pretty young when it came out) but I remember seeing Twiggy in The Boyfriend.
Also I remember Tommy.
Rest in peace, Mr. Russell.
