"National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"?

I been looking and looking for it and it comes on tonight at 10pm. True Christmas Classic that will never get old.

Who else is in the Clark Griswold fan club?

I will not this year cause I have seen that movie at least 6 times already. The part where the cat gets electrocuted just makes me cringe.
I like "Funny Farm" with Chevy Chase better. It just is more like a Christmas movie, IMHO.

Christmas wouldn't be complete for me without watching it at least two or three times. Have it on VHS, but really should change to DVD.

Default Husband Obsessed

Every year around the first week of December the husband will get this look on his face and will say something like "Are you ready for a Christmas movie?" and will run like a little kid to get the DVD. It is always the first one we watch. Every year. Like clockwork. Did I mention every year?

Favorite quote:

Clark to Eddie: "Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?"

Eddie: "Naw, I'm doing just fine, Clark."

I love this movie.

I don't have cable, but I've probably seen it enough to just watch it in my head.

A true classic! Hilarious holiday calamity from the Griswolds and their clan.

My favorite line..The family is leaving after one of the mishaps, And Mrs. Griswold tells her husband maybe everyone should leave before things get worse. Mr. G's answer:

"How can it get any worse, We are on the threshold of hell!"

And it got worse indeed...
