I can't think of a big-budget movie with more bad lines than Cutthroat Island.

They are so bad that I still remember them even though I haven't watched that movie in years.

Whenever the Hero/Heroine gazes deeply into the eyes of the other Hero/Heroine and says "be careful" I wince. This awful line has been used in countless films since the inception of movies. Even a few of the very best all time classic films have this line, such as Casablanca.

"I've never felt this way before." Any movie (or TV show) with that line, ugh. It sounds so phony and stupid.

Mark Wallberg in "The Happening" "We have to stay ahead of the wind!" You could even see on his face that he regretted signing up to do that crappy movie.

Paul Muni in "I Was A Prisoner On A Chain Gang". It's from the early '30's, but it's a really good movie until the end. True story of a man imprisoned for a small crime and put on a chain gang, escapes, moves north, establishes himself in a legit business but is ratted out by his landlady who has been opening his letters to his priest brother, and then he is sent back to prison. He escapes again and meets up briefly with his old girlfriend, but he's on the run and has to leave quickly. At the end, he runs into the shadows with the girlfriend yelling after him, "how will you live? how will you survive?" and out of the shadows you hear, "I STEEEEEEEEAAAL..." and then the movie ends.

I actually threw something at the television.
