Funny how I came across this post just now.
(I was searching for older movies filmed in the south)

I uploaded a copy a while back (Song of the South) to my Gdrive account in case my DVD gets messed up!

Yes, you can get it on DVD along with the (some would call) a 'racist' cartoon at the end of the movie.

Talons,
You don't even have to go thru eBay.. There are traditional online retailers selling Song of the South (new).
Seemed like it took a while for the old Chevy Chase joint Under the Rainbow to get a DVD release. But it's available now..

It's been out there for a few years, just not as an official Disney release.

Threads is one of the best (and most depressing) movies I've ever seen. Right up there with Testament, The Day After, & On the Beach.
