Heard on the Scottish news last night that Brad Pitt might be returning to Scotland to re shoot some of the scenes for World War Z. Filming took over the centre of Glasgow last year with the streets lines with American cars, trucks buses, bikes , traiffic lights, road signs and shops fronts for the movie as well as hot dog stands, water hydrants and loads of other stuff.. Im wondering if all this will have to come back again to Glasgow.. I loved it and was in a few days watching filming... welcome back Brad..

Thanks for posting. I read the book but the movie, sadly, won't resemble it. The book is too epic and would be better suited as a television series because it would be hard to condense it down to a two hour film if it stayed more faithful to the source material. I'll probably still see it though. It's rare you have such a huge star appear in zombie genre movies.

I hadnt realized the amount of cars and other things needed, we had streets all round the town centre packed and shut off from traffic, enormous US trucks , buses, even some army vehicles, then I heard through the grapevine where some of the cars were being kept... at Glasgow old meat market in the eastend of Glasgow... so I got myself up there and what a surprise, zooming out the gate came a police car and a car being driven by a man on the roof. he sped through derelict property where hardly any traffic passes and not a soul there to see this.. Ive taken photos that Ill look out.... now I dont know if this is used by camermen or if its part of the movie, with him on top. then I had a look through a slatted wooden fence and could see loads of American cars, camper vans, trucks all in there.. ON the set at George sq, could see Brad in the distance behind cars, but not close up... but we did get to see one of the stunt doubles, only he was about a foot shorter....

I'm worried for this movie, it's had major problems during production. That's never a good sign. While I won't see it in the theater because I hate going to theaters, I'm waiting impatiently for when it comes out for rent.

I'm not too crazy about fast zombies at all and these are super fast and super human. Looks cheesy as if the zombies are being shot out of a cannon in most scenes.
