What are the scariest movies ever you think? The ones that will make you throw up, be afraid of the dark, not sleep for a week, and fear fear fear!

The original Amityville Horror scared the crap out of me. Of course I was 10 at the time I saw it. Jaws was next I didn't go swimming for a month after not even in a pool!

I was going to say that about the original, I couldn't even watch the whole thing really.

I thought the remake of texas chainsaw was also very good. As well as:

The silence of the Lambs

The original Saw movie

I have to agree with The Exorcist. It was the only movie, that made me keep looking in the back seat when I had to drive home alone the night after watching it.

Yes! Also the Entity with Barbara Hershey.

The original Stepfather due to Terry O'Quinns creepy performance. The scene with him having an outburst in the basement was chilling.

Psychological horror freaks me out more than the slasher horror stuff. I'd have to say The Shining is one of the scariest. Those 2 little girls on their bikes get me every time, lol. And I'm a grown man! And just the overall creepy feel to the movie just makes it a classic.
