Anyone else love the book and look forward to the movie release in Nov?

I didn't "read" this book - rather I listened to it on CD at a rather difficult time in my life. I was pregnant and things weren't going well (I ended up losing the baby in the second trimester). At the time I had recently moved to Japan and well, not being Japanese or even speaking it - I felt very alone sometimes durng the day when my husband was at work. I found listening to books on CD easier than the Japnese radio stations or music cd's on my long twice a week drives to the doctor and listening to books made me feel a little less lonely somehow.... I remember just sobbing in my car in the parking lot when I fisnished the book.. Part of it was being on my own lonely journey listening to a stort about someone else feeling alone and adrift.

Anyway - the trailers look really promising...

that Richard parker stuff was hilarious LOL

I believe the second version obviously...the dark version. The kid made probably made up the fantasy story due to post-traumatic stress. Great film, really enjoyed it.
