I saw Skyfall, and once again it made me realize just how much I miss Sean Connery and how much better the now nearly half century old original Bond films were.
In terms of the story, I still think CASINO ROYALE and a few of the Connery flicks beat SKYFALL.
But in terms of cinematography, SKYFALL is the best Bond film ever made. I have never seen a Bond flick look this beautfiul. SKYFALL is not only the best-looking Bond film ever made, it is the best-looking movie I have seen in as long as I can remember. Absolutely gorgeous from beginning to end.

Well you can thank Roger Deakins for that. Certainly the part I enjoyed most about Skyfall.
A Bond movie is like pizza. There's good pizza and there's bad pizza. But, either way, we'd gobble it up because, after all, it's PIZZA!
Skyfall is a good-looking, bad-tasting pizza.
Filled my stomach up good though.
